Nurse’s Notes

Health Screening was completed on Sept 15/16th for grades 1-6.  If something was identified that suggests further followup may be needed, parents will receive a note within the next few weeks.  Please feel free to contact our school nurse, Linda Hoven, if you have any questions.  Her email address is linda-hoven@cdolinc.net

Handwashing is the best prevention against illness.  H1N1 is not the only illness we will see in our community in the coming months!  Please remember that your child needs to be free of fever for 24 hours (without the use of fever reducing medications) before returning to school.  There are many resources available to help you access the most current information regarding H1N1 and seasonal influenza, including the CDC and Three Rivers Public Health Department.  Immunizations will be available and are being encouraged by health officials.  Speak to your physician for more information!
