Resource Room News

The opportunity to attend the NCEA Convention in Minneapolis last week was a fantastic experience!  I hope that every teacher will be able to attend one

sometime.

Thanks to Fr. Townsend,  Mr. Weiss, Mrs. Kauffold, for making this possible.  Thanks also to the School-Family for their support and also to my Religious

Community.  I drove with Fr. Connor, our Sisters and staff of North American School.

Every Liturgy was celebrated from Bishops from Washington D.C., Atlanta, and St. Paul. Students from Catholic High Schools in Minneapolis and

the College of St. Catherine and St. Thomas

in St. Paul provided tremendous music!

There was a whole catalog of conferences available.  Some that I attended were:  ADHD and Learning Dis-Abilities, Developing Lifelong Strategic Spellers,

Regi and Me – Special Education Process and Differentiated Vocabulary Instruction.

I am looking through the catalogs of the booths of the companies that I visited.  They did not have books available to buy, so they will still need to be ordered.

The novels on John Neumann have arrived and we are already reading them.

I will be tutoring students with the Sonday Reading system the first two weeks after school is out here at St. Wenceslaus.  Please let me know if you are interested.  I will be sending out more information with the details soon.
